Let's talk parenting taboos: Rufus Griscom + Alisa Volkman | Video on TED.com
A fantastic talk by a husband-wife team (they started babble.com, a website for parents that tells it straight). They talk about the four taboos of parenting and why people should talk about them: Not falling in love with your baby at first sight, discussing your miscarriage, parents aren't always happy, and the loneliness you feel as a parent. The interview is about 17 minutes long, but there is a transcript that you can read.
