I became a mother at 29 years old and sometimes still feel as if I'm too young to have a baby! I'm originally from Colombia, South America, but have lived in the US my whole life. I have a baby boy, Desmond, who was born in August. I live with the love of my life and no, we're not married...yet. He owns a small tutoring business called Higher Ground Learning and he can fix anything that's broken. He can also make some mean scrambled eggs. I currently am pursuing a doctorate in public health and am interested in reproductive and perinatal issues. I wish I had more time to read books and I wish I liked being outdoors more. Other than that, I'm just trying to get through my crazy life, as honestly as I can, one step at a time.
